REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!!
Starting in January, our new program for youth in grades 9-12, the Marshlight Theatre Youth Company! Learn the fundamentals of theatre with Director Eva Lucas (and Marshlight manager Ryan Slashinsky) and perform with the experienced creators of live theatre at Marshlight! Sessions will run for an hour one day per week (except school holidays) from January to April. No audition necessary. To register, simply:

About the MTYC Director:
Eva Lucas (she/they) is a multidisciplinary theatre artist based in Mi’kma’ki. They are thrilled and honoured to be Marshlight’s Director of Youth Programming!
Eva been involved in New Brunswick’s theatre scene since moving to the province in 2018, and began her theatre education journey in 2020. She has been a lead educator and curriculum curator of theatre workshops and camps for youth, and has done so for companies such as Live Bait Theatre, Festival by the Marsh, and more. She has educated young artists across New Brunswick, including the Tantramar region, the Greater Moncton Area and the Greater Fredericton area.
When she is not teaching the next generation about the magic of theatre, you can find her performing onstage with McSweeney’s Dinner Theatre, designing costumes for Southeast New Brunswick-based stage productions, and (Veeeeeery slowly, but surely!) writing plays.
