Self Help Auditions
Audition call for Self Help by Norm Foster
Looking forward to Marshlight Theatre’s next production? Why not audition for it?!
Our next production is Norm Foster’s “Self Help”, directed by Paul Griffin. It goes up in the middle of November and auditions are September 16th, 17th, 18th at Marshlight Theatre.
There are 6 characters in this riotous farce:
Cindy Savage (30-50) – second rate actress who becomes a successful self help guru
Hal Savage (30-50) – Cindy’s husband, another actor turned guru
Ruby Delvecchio (40-60) – the couple’s bossy agent
Bernice (18-30) – a scattered housemaid
Detective Snow (40-60) – a police investigator
Jeremy Cash (25-40) – a nosy investigative reporter
The auditions will consist of cold reads from the script. If you’d like to read “Self Help”, you can find it through the database “Drama Online” in the Mount Allison Library.

IMPORTANT:
Due to the weather warnings for our region, the Sunday August 23rd performance of ZOMBLET! will be held in the Sackville Curling Club on 22 Lansdown Street.
Show runs from August 14th, 15th, 16th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd @7pm to 8:30pm at the corner of Bridge and Weldon by the quonset hut
Dan Bray’s exciting hybrid of Hamlet, Doctor Faustus and zombies, ZOMBLET! will be performed. It’s outdoor so bring your bug repellent and chairs.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for youth under 18. Tickets are available online right below or at the door!
Join us in an alternate reality where Hamlet and Faustus join together to defeat zombies! A rollicking comedy that is sure to leave you gasping… IN FEAR!
