APPLY TO PERFORM NOW!!
The Festival will see presentations of works in different art forms, at different stages of development, by professionals and community members. This could range from something like a reading from a chapter of a book someone is working on, to the first showing of something like a play, or a dance, or a work of art. It could also be someone trying something for the first time – such as a new director, or someone who has never sung in public before. There will also be workshops on developing new work. Anyone can submit a proposal for a project, including professionals, amateurs, and young people.
Anyone or any group can apply to have a project be part of the Festival. Because of the way the Festival is funded, there will be a majority of projects from Southeast New Brunswick, but we are also open to possibilities from other places. All projects accepted will be provided with a small budget. Marshlight Theatre Company will also be able to provide a limited amount of guidance and mentoring, but it is advised that proposed projects be largely self-manageable.
Experience the edge of local creativity at our multimedia festival, a whirlwind of innovative art, music, and more!
